Why does Dakota Audio offer such a wide variety of directional speakers?

Directional speaker needs are typically very specialized.  While there are some standard configurations that work well most of the time, frequently we are asked to build new solutions for our clients based on their needs.  Most of our custom solutions can be built in the time it takes for our competitors to ship their standard products and therefore we have built a very loyal customer base.

Occasionally, a new speaker design is so popular that we decide to stock the item on a regular basis. 

For example, in 2009 alone Dakota Audio is releasing seven new products, with several more prototypes going into field trials that may be released later in the year.  As the leader in the directional audio industry we take our role very seriously and feel it is our duty to remain as innovative today as when we started over 14 years ago.
